Towards a Decarbonized Society
- 20% of electricity used in product manufacturing to be supplied by renewable energy sources
In our Chemicals business, we manufacture chemicals through various processes, some of which require a lot of electricity. Our aim is to achieve a decarbonized society by proactively using renewable energy sources such as solar power.
- Reduce CO2 emissions by 20% compared to 2022
By developing and selling products with low environmental impact, we aim to contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions by our customers and become a global environmentally-friendly surface treatment manufacturer.
- Reduce plastic waste by 30% compared to 2022
- Reduce external treated effluent by 20% compared to 2022
We will reduce resin waste by 30% or more by reviewing product packaging materials and reusing and recycling resin packaging containers. We also aim to reduce waste liquids generated in the manufacturing process by more than 20% by reviewing the cleaning process and using more concentrated solutions.
