Low-carbon approach from the indirect sector

Electricity consumption at each plant will be monitored on an ongoing basis.
We will contribute to the reduction of energy consumption by gathering information from equipment vendors, leasing companies, etc., and matching it with the investment plans of each segment.

  • Reduce power consumption at all plants by 15% by 2030 compared to 2022

Reduction of paper usage will be promoted through the introduction of workflow and other systems to improve control and efficiency of operations. By reducing output from multifunction devices, we will help reduce energy consumption, aiming for a 60% reduction in paper consumption by 2030 compared to the actual level in 2022.

Reducing overtime and encouraging employees to take paid leave not only improves the health of employees and their families and improves work performance, but also contributes to reducing utility costs. Therefore, we hope to reduce electricity consumption.

  • 90% paid leave utilization rate by 2030
  • Reduce overtime work by 50% by 2030 compared to 2022

Switching from commuting by car to commuting by public transport, cycling, or walking can also be an effective way to reduce carbon emissions.
By 2030, we aim to increase the number of employees who commute to work by public transport or by cycling/walking, with the goal of a 50% increase compared to the 2022 actual level.
